    The Valley's holiday season starts Saturday, Nov. 7 and runs through the Home Alone 2 concert two days before Christmas, with lights open into the new year. Here's all of it in one place — parades and tree lightings, lights you can drive or walk through, where Santa is, the markets worth a Saturday, and the shows.

    If you only do one thing: Light Up Night downtown on Saturday, Nov. 28 — flea market on Phelps at 4, the parade down Federal at 6, the tree lighting on Central Square around 7:30. Free.

    Parades and tree lightings

    • Downtown Dazzle, Warren — Sat., Nov. 7, 6–8 PM. Warren Rotary lights up Courthouse Square with light displays set to music and a laser show at 7. Details
    • Sharon's Night of Lights — Fri., Nov. 20, 5–7 PM. Carriage rides, reindeer petting, food trucks, and Santa and Mrs. Claus downtown. Details
    • Columbiana Christmas Parade — Fri., Nov. 20, 6–8 PM, on a new route from Railroad Street along Main to Firestone Park. Details
    • Hermitage Holiday Light Parade — Sat., Nov. 21, 6 PM. The 28th year: lit floats and marching bands from East State and N. Kerrwood (by Kraynak's), east on State, then north on N. Hermitage Rd. Details
    • Youngstown Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting (Light Up Night) — Sat., Nov. 28. Flea on Phelps 4–8, Santa's Workshop at OH WOW! 4–7 (free Santa photos until 6), parade at 6 on Federal, tree lighting on Central Square around 7:30. Free. Details

    • Joy of Christmas Drive-Thru Light Show, Columbiana — 6–9 PM on Nov. 20–22, Nov. 26–29 and Dec. 3–6, then Thursdays through Sundays Dec. 10–27 (closed Christmas Day). $20 per car, $40 season pass; $10 Sundays for first responders, veterans and 65+. Details
    • Frost & Lights at Fellows Riverside Gardens — Dec. 5–Jan. 3, free. The Festival of Trees is indoors Tuesday–Sunday 10–5 (closed Mondays). Winter Nights light walks run 5–6 PM on Dec. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 26 and 27. Details

    • Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops Niles — starts Sun., Nov. 8. Free 4x6 photo with Santa; RSVP a time on basspro.com. Details
    • Santa's Arrival at Eastwood Mall — Sat., Nov. 14, noon–3. Mrs. Claus does story time and Dasher, a live reindeer, is there to pet. Details
    • Christmas at the Mill — Nov. 28–29, 11–3 at Lanterman's Mill. Santa visits noon–2, plus roasted chestnuts and handmade gifts. Free; bring a new hat, scarf or mittens for the Giving Tree. Details
    • The Polar Express at the Robins — Sun., Dec. 6 at 2 in Warren, with dancers from Krystie's Dance Academy during the film and photos with Santa and his reindeer. Details
